Cressi Cherokee Open Sling Speargun

The Cherokee is the evolution of the Geronimo model, with the same basic characteristics and the addition of many new technological innovations. It has kept the traditional qualities of Cressi spear guns, such as durability and ergonomics, and has been improved with often exclusive cutting-edge technical solutions.

Anticorodal brown camouflaged frame improved with integrated spear guide and lower anti-bending reinforcement, handle has sternal support with a soft interchangeable high-low position. Release box made entirely of stainless steel with lateral guide line release having automatic return and buckling tooth stroke damper. Tilting lateral safety catch. Reinforced reel buckle with steel through pin. Head for double elastic with magnetic spear lock: as soon as the spear is put in place, it is held by two neodymium magnets mounted in a watertight chamber. This characteristic guarantees maximum speed of reset without the disadvantages of conventional mechanical restraint systems. Supplied assembled and ready for use, multifilament braided nylon and 6.5 mm spear with small 17-4 ph steel fins.

It has an extraordinary balance between trigger sensitivity and accidental decoupling resistance, even when used with powerful dual bands. Lateral stainless steel retractable thread loop. Anticorodal Ø28 mm aluminum barrel derived from the model: Moichano.
Integrated low-friction guide as the shaft only rests on the two outer corners. The lower part is reinforced by additional thickness. This combination enables the spear gun to remain extraordinarily easy to handle while being more rigid than spear guns that are much larger in diameter. Muzzle: minimal but very robust opening so dual bands can be used.
Its cobra head design softens the angle of the bands so that they work more effectively without unnecessary friction or tension that could reduce the life of the product. It is designed so that if used with dual bands, both work equally without any interference.
The muzzleincorporates field lead on the lower part in stainless steel that also functions as a thread loop when dual pass is being used
Bands: pure USA latex Ø17 mm bands with Dyneema wishbone. Dual band possible.
Shaft: standard barbed, Ø6,5 mm. Dark tempered 16 4PH steel.
