2. Regulator Cressi MC9 Compact Pro

Regulator is the master of cold water and for travel junkies.

Combines a balanced diaphragm first stage with an SC cold water system with a sealed chamber and a light and compact second stage, that is a high performer in waters colder than 10°C.

This premiere travel regulator packs maximum performance into minimum space. A true featherweight second stage, the XS Compact Pro is built from lightweight techno-polymers to eliminate jaw fatigue. Easy to pack and easy to dive, the XS Compact Pro s dive/pre-dive Venturi switch for managing freeflow and maximising performance at depth. MC9-SEAL CHAMBER 1ST stage

The MC9-SEAL CHAMBER 1ST stage is environmentally sealed, protecting it against icing in cold water and against contamination from particulate matter in silty conditions.

The 1st stage MC9-SC is identical to model MC9, but with a special Seal Chamber which completely isolates the diaphragm and spring from contact with water. This makes it ideal for diving in waters that are rich in suspension and mineral salts, e.g. for archaeological work, cavern, scallop/cray, and diving in cold waters.

Hyper-balancing allows for an increase of the intermediate pressure at maximum depths and lowering of the pressure in the tank, offering higher performance during the delicate ascent phase and at maximum depths.

DIN 200/300 bar fitting in stainless steel which prevents deformation of the thread in the event that the regulator suffers any falls.

3. Octopus Cressi XS Compact

Octopus XS Compact uses the same casing as the XS Compact model made from special hi-tech polymers, the only difference being the yellow front cover.
All the parts of XS Compact , most of which are patented, can be found on this regulator.
The performance is extremely high, although the calibration is regulated so that the inhalation effort is slightly greater than on the XS Compact , to prevent any self-regulating possibility when it is used as a spare regulator.
Octopus XS Compact suits all the Cressi first stages perfectly and all the first stages with an intermediate pressure between 9 and 10 bar
